Seminyak reads as busy from the street and is anything but once you are through the gate. The villas we use are walled, with their own pool, sundeck and enclosed garden, and they start at around 150 square metres of living space.
The trade is deliberate: you give up the rice-terrace silence of Ubud and get the coast, the galleries and a dinner reservation worth crossing the island for. Days here run to a surf lesson, an afternoon in the shops, and a table held at sunset.

Seminyak Honeymoon Questions
Seminyak or Ubud for a honeymoon?
Ubud if your ideal day is a sunrise yoga session and a temple; Seminyak if it is a surf lesson, an afternoon in the galleries and a table booked weeks ahead. Plenty of couples split the week and do both — it is a ninety-minute drive.
How far is the beach from the villas?
Roughly a hundred metres to Petitenget beach from most of the villas we use. Close enough to walk down for sunset without arranging anything.
What drives the price?
Season first, then the property and the length of stay. July, August and the Christmas fortnight sit at the top. Late April, May and September give you the same weather for noticeably less.
Is our money protected?
Yes. We are a licensed Indonesian travel company and client funds are held in a separate trust account until your travel is complete.
How far ahead should we book?
Six to nine months for the best villas and the harder restaurant tables, and it is also when early-booking terms are available.
