Making it yours

Customise Your Bali Honeymoon

Every itinerary we publish is a starting point. These are the six things couples change most.

Tell us what to change

The short answer

Every part of a Bali honeymoon can be changed — dates, length, who comes, what you eat, how you move around and what you do — and the six below are the ones couples actually ask about.

  • No fixed departure dates; the trip starts when you land
  • Two people, or two people and the families
  • Diet handled at the villa and every restaurant we book
  • Step-free routing where it is needed

Six dimensions

What You Can Change

Nothing here costs extra to ask about. Most of it costs nothing to change.

Dates and duration

No set departures. Three nights or three weeks, arriving on a Tuesday if that is when the flight is. Season is the one thing worth being flexible about, because it moves the price more than anything else.

Who comes

Most of our couples travel as two. Some bring parents, some bring eight friends. A villa with one bedroom and a villa with four are different bookings, so tell us early.

What you eat

Vegan, coeliac, allergy, religious observance — briefed to your private chef and to every restaurant we hold a table at. This is the single most common request and the easiest to meet.

Occasions inside the occasion

A surprise proposal, a vow renewal, an anniversary falling mid-trip. Symbolic ceremonies start around $1,500 depending on the setting and how many people are watching.

Access and mobility

Villa selection changes considerably — many of the most beautiful properties are built across levels with steps and no rails. Tell us and we route around it rather than hoping.

What you actually do

More wellness and fewer temples, or the reverse. Diving instead of yoga. A cooking class instead of a driver. The days are yours to weight.

Neither costs anything and neither commits you. Most couples start from a template and end up somewhere between the two.

Worth telling us early

Three Things That Change Everything Downstream

Mention these in the first message and the first draft will be much closer.

How many of you

It determines the villa, and the villa determines most of the budget. A four-bedroom estate is a different search entirely.

Any access needs

Said early it is a routing decision. Said late it means unpicking a confirmed booking.

How fixed the dates are

If there is a fortnight of flexibility, we can often find you the same trip for meaningfully less.

Questions About Customising

Does customising cost more?

The planning does not. Whether the trip costs more depends entirely on what you change — a longer stay costs more, a smaller villa costs less.

How many revisions do we get?

As many as it takes. Most couples settle in one or two rounds because the first draft is built from an actual conversation rather than a form.

Can we bring family?

Yes, and plenty do. It changes the villa search more than anything else, so tell us the headcount in the first message.

Can you handle serious dietary restrictions?

Yes. Your private chef is briefed before arrival and every restaurant we book is told in advance rather than on the night.

What about wheelchair access?

Possible, but it narrows the villa list sharply — many of the best properties are deliberately built across levels. Raise it first, not last.

Send the itinerary closest to what you want and what is wrong with it. That is usually a faster start than a blank page.
